BDC Presents: Making “Going Electric” Easy! with Harvest Thermal

How do we help homeowners transition from gas affordably, comfortably and equitably? And how do we do that while helping build a cleaner and more resilient electric grid? These are the challenges that the Harvest Thermal team set out to solve when they developed a smart home heating and hot water system. The system leverages the thermal storage potential of the planet’s most abundant resource — water — and marries it to algorithms and a heat pump to tackle the existential threat of climate change. This helps homeowners lower energy bills, utilities manage a cleaner grid, and allows all of us to benefits from cleaner air and lower carbon emissions.
