Encinitas Vote on Building Electrification

The first major Building Electrification ordinance in San Diego County to require all-electric new construction is coming up for a vote next week!

The Encinitas City Council will be voting on their Green Building Ordinance 2021-13 on Wednesday August 18, 2021 at 6 PM, Agenda item 10A. While this ordinance is commendable and should be approved, it contains some undesirable exceptions.
