Rally For 100% Clean Energy

Heat, drought, fires, flooding – the climate crisis has hit San Diego County, but this March 23rd we can hit back.
We are calling on our region’s power provider, San Diego Community Power, to adopt a binding legal commitment to provide 100% of our local energy from clean, renewable sources by 2035.
Right now, 100% renewable by 2035 is a “goal” that SDCP says it will try to achieve, if feasible. But we all know what happens to lofty goals when the going gets tough.
With the climate crisis at our doorstep, Do or Do Not, There is No Try.
Will you rally with us on Thursday, March 23rd at 4:00 PM ahead of the San Diego Community Power Board Meeting to ensure we take urgent action to tackle the climate emergency?
Where: Meet and Rally at the San Diego County Operations Center (5520 Overland Ave, San Diego, CA 92123)
When: 4:00 – 4:45 PM on Thursday, March 23rd. At 4:45 we will march to the SDCP Board of Directors meeting (approximately a 5-minute walk).
