Vista Unified School District became the 4th district in San Diego to go all-electric!
On Thursday 7/17/25, the board for Vista Unified School District adopted a comprehensive Electrification Resolution with unanimous support.
Special shoutout to all the amazing advocates who showed up to tell the Board why getting dangerous gas pollution out of our schools is a no brainer! Here is the VUSD Climate Action Committee recommendation leading to this being adopted.
With four districts now committed to electrification, 185,000 San Diego students across 300 schools will breathe clean air and study in climate-resilient buildings!
