TECH Webinar: Quarterly Stakeholder Meeting

Hear what is happening with TECH Clean California and learn how you can take part in the initiative at the tenth quarterly Stakeholder Meeting. Energy Solutions, the initiative’s implementer, and our partners will provide an update of our activities, timeline, and opportunities for involvement. As part of TECH Clean California’s market transformation role, we will also discuss cross-program coordination, barriers to low-income customers’ access to incentives and their potential solutions.
In this Stakeholder Meeting, we will be focusing on the theme of Equity efforts that the team is focusing on. This includes information about the Association of Energy Affordability Multifamily program, SER Implementation Pilot, and Incentive carveouts.
TECH Clean California is a statewide initiative designed to accelerate the adoption of clean space and water heating technology across California homes. The initiative provides market incentives and workforce education and training to make it easier and cost-competitive for contractors to sell and install heat pump technology for residential replacement projects. TECH Clean California supports existing programs, through matched incentive funding, and extends incentives statewide with an emphasis on access for low-income and disadvantaged communities. The initiative’s activities, which also include its pilot programs, Quick Start Grants, and public reporting website, will help California further its goal of being carbon-neutral by 2045.
